Heather has been a part of the veterinary field for over 20 years and has been a licensed veterinary technician for 10 of those years. She attended Mercy College and graduated with a BS in Veterinary Technology before going on to earn her license. Her extensive veterinary experience has allowed her to work as a surgical technician, emergency technician and in general practice over the years. She went on to graduate from The CURE Center for Ultrasound Research and Education in Westchester, NY in 2016 before starting her career with us at Ultravet Mobile.
Heather has devoted her life to caring for animals and has a great passion and love for what she does. Her love of animals dates back to her childhood years. Today, Heather has many pets of her own, which include two dogs; a Cairn Terrier named Chase and a Standard Poodle named Jasper, a Parakeet named Jimmer Jammers, a rat named Luna and a Blue Fronted Amazon Parrot named Zachary. In her free time, Heather enjoys spinning wool and knitting as well as a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking.
